Arrival and Departure Services

Your Northern Michigan home should feel ready when you arrive — and properly closed up when you leave.

Daymark helps with select arrival and departure details so you are not managing every task from the road or from hundreds of miles away.

Services may include:

  • Pre-arrival home readiness including temperature adjustments, select lighting, and other agreed-upon setup tasks

  • Basic grocery and household stocking so essentials are waiting when you arrive

  • Cleaning coordination with professional interior or exterior service providers

  • Vehicle starts

  • Post-departure close-up including doors, windows, water and chosen home systems

  • Custom checklist support based on your property, season and preferences

Vendor Access

Daymark will securely hold keys and provide access in approved situations when contractors, cleaners, heating/cooling technicians, plumbers, electricians and other service providers need to enter your home while you are away.

This gives you a licensed, bonded, insured and reliable local point of contact without handing out keys broadly or coordinating every appointment from a distance.

Support includes:

  • Scheduled access for approved vendors

  • On-site presence

  • Photo and note documentation

  • Locking access doors

  • Prompt communication

Errands & Light Home Support

Daymark will help with select errands and small home-related tasks that are difficult to manage from a distance.

Support include:

  • Picking up supplies

  • Package and delivery management

  • Forwarding or placing mail and packages

  • Completing simple, non-licensed tasks

  • Replacing light bulbs, batteries, filters or similar items

  • Noting concerns and helping coordinate the appropriate professional when needed

  • Providing clear updates with notes and photos

Vehicle Start-Up & Status Checks

If you keep vehicles at your Northern Michigan home while you are away, Daymark can provide limited vehicle support as part of your concierge service.

Supporting concierge services include:

  • Starting vehicles according to your instructions

  • Allowing vehicles to idle briefly

  • Connecting or confirming homeowner-provided trickle chargers

  • Checking for obvious visible concerns, such as warning lights, leaks, low tire appearance or signs of disturbance

  • Providing photo and note updates

  • Coordinating access for qualified service providers

Daymark does not provide mechanical repair or diagnostic services.

If a concern is observed, we will notify you and can help coordinate next steps.

On-Call Property Check-Ins

When an alarm, storm, power concern or other alert creates uncertainty while you are away, Daymark may be available for an in-person property check-in.

As your local point of contact, we will visit the property, observe visible conditions, document what we find and communicate clearly so you are not left guessing from a distance.

  • Homeowner-requested visits after alarms, alerts, storms, outages or other property concerns

  • Visual checks of access areas for signs of damage, disturbance, water intrusion, heat failure or other obvious issues

  • Door, window and access-point checks

  • Photo-based documentation

  • Alarm system resets when safe, appropriate and specifically instructed

  • Coordination with approved vendors, emergency contacts or service providers when professional assistance is needed

Daymark is not a house sitter, security company, alarm monitoring service or emergency responder. This concierge support is intended to provide a trusted local presence, prompt observation and clear communication when you need someone nearby.
